Biography | |
My name is Dave Hayungs, thanks for stopping by and checking out my artwork. I have been studying and creating art since I was a child growing up in Iowa. I graduated from Iowa State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and I have been involved in various art related fields for more than 20 years, including illustration, graphic design and painting. I get inspiration from life's simple things, especially faces, and enjoy painting with large gobs (official art term) of color and an abstract style. I love to use large canvas sizes and big bold colors and strokes. I appreciate the opportunity of this online gallery to expose my artwork to a much larger audience than I could at a local gallery show. Thanks again for visiting my website, I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy painting them. |
