P.K.Ganga( Peter Ganga) -1948: Shoranur (Kerala ) India
Ganga did his MFA in fine arts and Post graduate in Industrial Design (Textiles) from the College of Arts,Madras India in 1971.
Studied at the Academy of Atrs,Madrid, Spain and New York University,U.S.A.
Ganga has held 22 one-man shows in Spain,Switzerland, Germany, Canary Islands and major cities in the U.S.A. as well as in India since 1965.
Ganga is a recipient of the Best Exhibit "Gold Medal award" from Lalit
Kala Academy, India.
His award winning short film " Ganga 71 Color" Batik as a fine art documentary was well received by the European and public channels in the U.S.A.
His works are part of the collections at renowned public and private collections throughout the world,especially his early Batik masterpieces.
Gang's "Genesh" was part of " EYE ON NEW YORK" 1973; group show that included works of master painters Dali and Picasso.
He is one of the early founder menbers of the Cholamandal Artists village, Madras, India.
