Biography | |
Born in Moscow in 1956.
Graduated from the Moscow Art School in 1975, and then in 1983 from V. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute, where he studied under professor V. Tsyplakov. From 1984 to 1987 he took art courses from Members of the Russian Academy of Arts Alexei Gritsai and Sergei Tkachev.
Put his works on display at a number of exhibitions both in Russia and abroad.
Was granted membership of the Russian PaintersÂ’ Union in 1987.
The painterÂ’s canvases form part of the collection of the Russian Ministry of Culture, Russian Academy of Arts, and of the Holy Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexiy the Second. They were repeatedly offered as gifts on behalf of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and Goverment.
In 1996 Nikolai was awarded a diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts.
In 2004 Nikolai was invited to become an honourable member of our Gallery-Worldwide and its Russian part. |
