Biography | |
Gneushev Konstantin a native of Moscow Works in crayon. One of the best contemporary masters in this genre. In 1950 graduated from the Stroganov Colledge of Applied Arts. Took classes from S. Gerasimov, A. Kuprin, P. Kuznetsov. In 1955 joined the USSRUnion of Artist. Participant of numerous art exhibitions. Stages 7 solo exhibitions. His works are contained in museums and private collections in Russia, Japan, Italy, Sweden, UK, France, Denmark, USA and other countries. |

In a general sense, refers to objective representation. More specifically, a nineteenth century movement, especially in France, that rejected idealized academic styles in favor of everyday subjects. Daumier, Millet, and Courbet were realists. |
