| Biography | |
I am an artist living in Mauritius, where I was born on the 7th August 1968. Here, for the last 20 years, I have enjoyed painting my natal sphere. In an effort to do its plurality justice. I practice many diverse techniques and styles. Painting and sculpture are indivisible from who I am, and my palette is drawn from the multitude of tropical colours that clothe my daily surroundings as they are bathed in an almost omnipresent sunshine. I hope that these images speak of the beauty of life in this corner of paradise...
I have done 5 exhibitions here in Mauritius and one exhibition in Lausanne - Switzerland. I mainly paint landscapes inspired by the tropical flora and fauna found on my island. |
