Vilija was born in Lithuania . She lives and works in Vilnius ( the Capital of Lithuania ) .
1967 graduated in Graphic Arts from J.Naujalis High School of Arts . 1985 graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts .
Since 1995 a member of Lithuanian Artist's Association .
The creative works of Kisieliute cannot be attributed to one trend or be divided into clearly marked periods . Artist says , that she gets tired from one style and she doesn't like to repeat herself , thus Vilija experiments a lot . Therefore , lyric , feminine and realisticstill - lifes are followed by the brave abstraction , pulsating in a masculine power and bold colours .
Kisieliute exhibited her works at home as well as abroad . Her personal and joint artist's exhibitions were held in Finland , Germany , United Arab Emirates , Island , France , Poland , Ireland . |
