Best known for his brilliant colored acrylic paintings of abstract compositions, fashion motifs and dreams, John Vila has established himself as a leader in contemporary art. John was introduced to the art world by the late fashion designer Gianni Versace who facilitated an art exhibit sponsored by the renowned designer and restaurateur, Mr Gerry Kelly of Miami Beach. In 2003, The Expo Design Company published limited edition prints which made his work accessible to millions of people in America and throughout the world. Since then, John Vila has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco where he currently lives.
