Pure Passion fueled by inspiration – A Sculptor’s Dream
Passionate about life’s possibilities and challenges, Carla discovered ceramic sculpture to express her individual take on life. Exploring the three dimensional possibilities of her medium, she has created groundbreaking interpretations of the human shape that both stimulate and intrigue.
Living and working in San Francisco provides the multicultural background that Carla is thriving in to create her sculptures in ever changing and exploring variations that express her vivacious interaction with people.
Carla has been attending ceramic classes at City College of San Francisco since 2002, after learning the craft of ceramics and glazing first. She constantly experiments with her very own glaze recipes and intricate textures to invent new combinations with every piece.
