Linda Ellen Price studied with Russian artist Max Heldman. Travels in Russia, and Russian art have been an ongoing inspiritation.
She lives on a sixty acre retreat in north Alabama with her husband David, and her two dogs, Tony and Louie. A quiet setting, conducive to her work and inspiration. A registered nurse, she felt her true calling was art, and her love of people and animals is evident in both her creative paintings in galleries, and commissioned portraits. Paintings other than portraits range from colorful street scenes, vibrant tropical creations, to figures in sepia, reflecting her vivid imagination and endless fascination with paint and color. Dogs are often in her work, showing their personality with quick gestures of her brush.
