Description | |
This poem I wrote when making this very personal painting:
Don't worry my beloved ones
I am letting you go, and welcoming you back.
I forgive myself and release the pain.
I know you are helped along the way, which is why I can bear not to be there.
I trust that everything is perfect, I trust that everything is for a reason to lovely to comprehend.
But I ache. And I grieve. And I long.
The loss is an illusion, but the sorrow is too beautiful.
The mind cannot grasp the wholeness, so it waits for the heart to explain.
The heart tells of faith in difficult times.
It tells of wisdom among misperceptions.
It tells of laughter in a time of brutality.
It tells of courage when much was feared.
And it tells of an impossible sacrifice for the greatest love.
Then pain.
Transitioning.
Peace.
As the everlasting embraces mortality I see and I understand.
You will come back to me.
You are coming back to me.
You are here.
We are meeting again, we are together.
My dearest ones, my children. |
