| Oil on primed wood. Classical portrait of a Border Collie. Smooth textured surface ( no impasto ). Technique of "velature" gives transparency and extreme realism even from close-up. Mainly warm sienna colours with cerrulean blue shades. The back of the wood panel is polished in "french polish" technique. Currently unframed. |
