Description | |
Like a colossal weight on my shoulders; like a boulder rolling down a
mountain; like the waves of a furious ocean â that is what the pressure we
face can feel like at times. The weight could crush you, the boulder may
crack and the waves run out on the sand:
Patience.
At times I feel an enormous rush of anxiety, but somewhere deep in my
soul the word patience is spelled out. We have to learn to listen to ourselves
more; to trust our instincts. For no one knows better than ourselves when
the moment is truly right. |

Same Style Realism |
 |
A style of painting which depicts subject matter (form, color, space) as it appears in actuality or ordinary visual experience without distortion or stylization. In a general sense, refers to objective representation. More specifically, a nineteenth century movement, especially in France, that rejected idealized academic styles in favor of everyday subjects. Daumier, Millet, and Courbet were realists. |
