Description | |
Kalyazin (Êàëÿçèí in Russian) is a town in the Tver Oblast in Russia, located on the Volga River.
A flooded chapel stands in the Volga River next to Kalyazin.Kalyazin appeared in the 12th century as a settlement for people relieved from paying taxes (such settlements were called sloboda).
