| Biography | |
| Krasnikov Mikhail member of the International Artistry Fund, candidate of architecture, prize-winner and recipient of diplomas of international contests. Born in Moscow. Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Architecture. His first teacher of drawing was P. Sipin ( head of the chair A. Deineka ). The architectural composition was taught by professor I. Melchakov, a water color painter. His major influence a prominent architect L. Pavlov, who had worked in close cooperation with such eminent figures as I. Zholtovsky, I. Leonidov, G. Goltz, V. Meyerkhold, L. Pavlov was his curator, teacher and colleague for over 25 years. In Mosproject M. Krasnikov received his first practical experience in architecture, after post graduate courses he worked in other central institutes, e.g. he was a chief architect at the research and design institute TSNIIEP ( design of educational buildings). M. Krasnikov is the author of over 40 design of public complexes and other buildings, part of them were implemented in practice. Many design and academic works were published . In 1994 Krasnikov started to teach. Gurrently, he is a professor, head of chair and dean of the faculty of architecture at the Institute of Economic and Culture. The works were shown in various houses of artists* unions and other exhibition hall. |
