Nelidkin Nikolai Nikolaevich born in 1949. Graduated from the Stroganov College of applied arts. Member of the creative association of artists Pyaty Dom, Zhukovsky, permanent of exhibitions staged by this association Participant of exhibitions staged in the museums of Elektrostal and Dzherzhinsky, exhibitions of Nash Izograph publishing house, in exhibition halls of CHWA, Tushino, Na Kashirke(Moscow). Staged solo exhibitions in Art salon in Zhukovsky. Teaches painting in master-classes of association Pyaty Dom, Zhukovsky. Some of his works are in private collections in Russia and abroad. |

In a general sense, refers to objective representation. More specifically, a nineteenth century movement, especially in France, that rejected idealized academic styles in favor of everyday subjects. Daumier, Millet, and Courbet were realists. |
