V.V. Strumillo-Kovalenko was born in 1932 on the Solovetskie islands.
In 1960 he graduated from the Moscow State Arts Institute named after V.I. Surikov.
He is a member of the Russian Union of artists and the International fund of artists.
He is a participator of many Russian and foreign exhibitions; he was given good references in the press.
The artistÂ’s works are in private collections in Europe, Asia and America.
The artist lives and works in Moscow. |

A style of painting which depicts subject matter (form, color, space) as it appears in actuality or ordinary visual experience without distortion or stylization. In a general sense, refers to objective representation. More specifically, a nineteenth century movement, especially in France, that rejected idealized academic styles in favor of everyday subjects. Daumier, Millet, and Courbet were realists. |
