"I believe that art which has the most impact needs to be displayed large with interesting textures and colors. It should inspire emotion and thought."

Kelli is a self taught artist who uses oils, large canvases and interesting textures to express her emotions in her art. She is influenced primarily by the music she listens to as she creates a piece. Because of the boldness and depth of color it creates, Kelli prefers to work in oils utilizing interesting tools such as spackle kives, palette knives and anything else that may create an interesting piece! 

"I get very excited approaching a new canvas because I'm never entirely sure how it will ultimately turn out. My work goes through many different stages until I reach the final product. My music inspires me and while I may name a piece as to what it means to me, I hope that anyone viewing my art develops their own emotions and stories to go with it. I love to create work that provokes thought and feeling and lets the viewer decide what it is to them."
