Through an expression of dramatic color and exaggerated light, I work to bring my subjects to their extreme. I paint mainly with a pallet knife which creates rich texture and provides intricate detail, while still leaving a lot of room for interpretation.

An emotional interest is my true goal in every piece. Rather I’m using bold, vivid colors or softer neutral tones any art becomes fascinating to me, from its ability to make a stranger feel or reflect. And this is what I strive for in every piece.
