Beautiful and talented Beyonce is depicted as the classical goddess Venus, emerging from the water on a shell as a full-grown woman, arriving at the seashore. She is being blown towards the shore by the Zephyrs, symbols of spiritual passions. She is joined by one of the Horae, goddesses of the seasons, who hands her a flowered cloak.
Details: Finished in February 2009, this full-color painting on primed canvas will be cherished and sought after for years to come. Its dimensions are 24"x 36" x þâ and it is protected with oil-based varnish. It is unframed. |
