Sophia and Logos |
Description | |
A romantic painting describing a rare meeting between my two favourite angels, Sophia and Logos.
This is the poem as written on the painting:
Below the stars,
above the sea.
When day is gone,
but night can see.
Colours are dead,
darkness takes form.
Sophia, Logos,
love will transform.
"Forget the cold",
she smiles to him.
"Embrace the warmth",
he takes her in.
So it happens,
stars shine as noon.
Though only once,
in a Full Moon. |

The collection is a series of angelic figures either alone or interacting. The different angels represent different aspects of the self (masculine and feminine), and when they interact it symbolizes the self trying to contain these sides in order to become whole.
The more basic themes of the series is love and devotion between man and woman. |
