Description | |
This painting is done mainly in a tonal style, but with some impressionism and a lots of texture. The rocks in the river really have a 3 dimensional effect because of the texture. There is a distinctive differences between the foreground and the back ground. The smooth surface of the back ground helps give the appearance of being very far away. I believe this painting captures a foggy rainy evening in the mountains. This piece is professionally custom framed in a semi- Ornate United Kingdom imported moulding by Larson Juhl.
Giclee prints are also available on all my original paintings. Prints are $80 + shipping
