Oil on canvas |
Description | |
I painted this piece based off a photograph from John Thomas called "The Crawlers. He was the first photographer to travel to the mideast and was one of the first photo journalists. He went to London in 1876 and took photo's of homeless people. I wanted to paint it in blue to express the mood and left out certain asoects of the photo to express what he wanted to convey in his story. |
