Asbjorn Lonvig's words: "Church at the Invalides Color" is inspired by the Church at the Invalides.
Is Napoleon Bonaparte really inside?????
Wikipedia's words: Under the dome of the Church at the Invalides - L'Eglise des Invalides - Napoleon Bonaparte's sarcophagus is placed.
Les Invalides in Paris, France, is a complex of buildings in the city's 7th arrondissement containing museums and monuments, all relating to the military history of France. There is a hospital as well and a retirement home for war veterans, which is the original purpose of the buildings. The buildings house the Musee de l'Armee, the military museum of the Army of France, the Musee des Plans-Reliefs, and the Musee d'Histoire Contemporaine, as well as the burial site for France's war heroes, notably Napoleon Bonaparte. |
