Description | |
In 2008-9 we had raging bush fires and then in 2009 -10 we experienced one of the wettest years on record break a drought that in some parts of australia had lasted 10 years . with this record rainfall came floods reviving the much parched land and giving the tree in many area the first real drink for many years , but it also killed livestock and in some case drowned crops , some area were under water for many months . the heavy monsoons that year resulting in a flood the traveling deep into central australia eventually filling and inland sea know as lake air . This is some thing one can expect to happen once in your life time. there was much rejoicing from the wild life as the rivers were flowing for the first time for many years and every thing was breeding and feeding were a few weeks ago there had been bare ground ,dry creek beds , now was knee deep grass and the rivers and creeks full of fish and life begins anew . |
